Bookshelf built-ins, custom closet shelves, mudroom cubbies... even secret doors! Carpentry might be my favorite service to offer, whether it be rough (e.g. decks, framing, etc.) or finish (e.g. built-ins, trim installation, crown molding, etc.) or something in-between!

Handyman Services

No job is too small.

Handyman service offerings (useful if you have a variety of small projects):

Full day (8hrs): $800
Half day (4hrs): $440
Partial day (2hrs): $240

Typical services & prices:

TV mounting ~$100
In-wall wire concealment ~$100 + materials
Ceiling fan installation (where appropriate box exists) or replacement (removal of old and installation of new) ~$150
Furniture assembly - $50/hr

Landscaping Services

SPEK Contracting offers maintenance for Charlottesville-area small to medium sized lawns (i.e. small enough to do with a push mower). We do NOT use gas powered leaf blowers and are OK with grass clippings on the yard (it's good for the grass) and sidewalk.
