Hi, I'm Stephen and I started SPEK Contracting in May 2022 to provide quality home improvement and handyman services in the greater Charlottesville area. While my 15+ years of "professional" background is in engineering, IT consulting, and project management, my real related experience includes nearly 30 years of building, fixing, tinkering, and learning new things related to construction and home improvement.

Breaking news! I have been approved as a Class B Contractor through the VA DPOR! This means I could tackle projects / contracts up to $120,000! Woah.
